   After  being absent the last 2 days of class, I started reading chapter 3 of the novel. Today in class I read that Montag and the other firemen stopped the truck in front of his home after the firemen went to Montag's house because they were told that there are some books that must be burned. Montag has no choice than hiding from the other firemen. I will continue reading because the plot is getting interesting for me.

 After reading part 1 of Bradbury's novel, I could understand that firemen burn books instead of reading them which might be the reason of people's behavior. When I got to the part where it says intellectual is a swear word, I didn't really understand why?. I like the part where Clarisse's uncle says that architects get rid of porches because they didn't look well.
